ISO
9002 Quality Certification
The Cartoveneta company policy has always made a point
of constantly looking for quality. With the ISO 9002
certification issued by IQNet and CISQ, our policy has
achieved an influential acknowledgement.
The Quality Certification demands that the company clearly
expresses the parameters that characterise its service.
The parameters do not necessarily have to have particularly
high or low values: the Quality Certification is not
an indication that the service offered is better than
that of another company in terms of quality, but it
only indicates that the service offered has well-defined
parameters. If all companies were certified, the public
could distinguish more clearly the difference between
the various services offered, because each company would
have to express the quality parameter values of the
services offered.
Besides stating the values of the quality parameters,
the company must have an internal quality control system
to check
that the supply conforms to what has been promised and
agreed upon contractually. Of course, the company could
try to hide or cover up any malfunctions or defects
in the product/service: certification but an external
source is thereby provided to guarantee the customer
that the control system works properly.
To be noted is that the certifying body does not check
the product/service, but only the company's quality
system. It is the company's duty to then continuously
inspect its product/service and make sure that it remains
within the established limits. Any deviations (non conformity)
are notified and corrected accordingly.
