ISO 9002 Quality Certification


The Cartoveneta company policy has always made a point of constantly looking for quality. With the ISO 9002 certification issued by IQNet and CISQ, our policy has achieved an influential acknowledgement.

The Quality Certification demands that the company clearly expresses the parameters that characterise its service. The parameters do not necessarily have to have particularly high or low values: the Quality Certification is not an indication that the service offered is better than that of another company in terms of quality, but it only indicates that the service offered has well-defined parameters. If all companies were certified, the public could distinguish more clearly the difference between the various services offered, because each company would have to express the quality parameter values of the services offered.

Besides stating the values of the quality parameters, the company must have an internal quality control system to check that the supply conforms to what has been promised and agreed upon contractually. Of course, the company could try to hide or cover up any malfunctions or defects in the product/service: certification but an external source is thereby provided to guarantee the customer that the control system works properly.
To be noted is that the certifying body does not check the product/service, but only the company's quality system. It is the company's duty to then continuously inspect its product/service and make sure that it remains within the established limits. Any deviations (non conformity) are notified and corrected accordingly.

Certificates

The following is a list of the quality certificates issued by IQNet and CISQ for obtaining the ISO 9002 certification:
 

Consumer protection

Pizza boxes are manufactured for the consumer's protection and are provided with certificate of origin and suitability. These boxes are designed for direct contact with hot and cold foods, as they are manufactured using food paper in compliance with the following provisions:

• Ministerial Decree n° 21/03/73 and subsequent modifications (2, para IV, art. 27/a-b relating to hygienic discipline of food products types I, II, III, IV, V);
• attachment III modified by Decree of 04/04/85;
• EEC directive n° 63/229 of 25/04/83 (published in the EEC Official Bulletin n° 123 of 11/05/83).

The containers are suitable for heating pizza up to 180°.


FOOD SYMBOL

The cardboard used in the production of boxes falls within the parameters established by Ministerial Decree of 21 March 1973; Moreover, the material is suitable for containing all the foods listed in Ministerial Decree n° 220 of 26 April 1993; for these reasons, the cardboard has the food symbol as defined by Ministerial Decree of 25 June 1981.
